Mark your calendars for Aspinwall’s Big Night Out, our biggest celebration of the year! This free, volunteer-run community event is all about bringing neighbors together for an unforgettable evening of fun, music, food, and connection.

Whether you’re coming with little ones, meeting friends, or introducing yourself to someone new, Aspinwall Neighbors’ Big Night Out is a chance to celebrate everything that makes Aspinwall such a special place to call home. Aspinwall Recreational Baseball Fields

6:00–9:00 PM

Free Family Fun

There’s something for every age throughout the evening, including:

• Meet and greets with local first responders, including Southern Allegheny Valley Emergency Services, Foxwall EMS and the Aspinwall Police Department

• Connect with local representatives and community organizations

• Toddler bounce slide

• Inflatable games for older kids

• Foam party

• Balloon twister

• Airbrush tattoos

• Photo booth

• Complimentary popcorn and cotton candy from Aspinwall Neighbors while supplies last

Every activity is free thanks to our amazing event sponsors and the volunteers who make this evening possible.

Live Entertainment

The soundtrack to the evening will keep the energy going all night!

• Aspinwall’s own DJ Doug will be spinning music throughout the event.

• At 7:00 PM, local band Stealing Time takes the stage, featuring two talented Aspinwall residents.

Neighborhood Lounge (21+)

Adults 21 and older are invited to relax in our Neighborhood Lounge, where local beverage samplings will be available throughout the evening, while supplies last from:

• Dancing Gnome Brewery

• Sprig Coffee Company

• Lucky Sign Spirits

• Blume Honey Water

A valid photo ID is required for entry, and IDs will be checked at the lounge entrance.

Dinner & Dessert

Pack a picnic and enjoy dinner with your neighbors. It’s encouraged! If you’d rather leave dinner to someone else, several local favorites will be offering food for purchase:

• Pasquale’s Pizza of Aspinwall

• Aladdin’s Eatery Fox Chapel

• The Aspinwall Canteen

Make sure to save room for dessert! Sweet treats will also be available for purchase from Treat Down the Street and local baker Lay’s Kitchen. These optional food purchases are the only costs at the event.

Help Us Make It Zero Waste

We’re proud to partner with the Borough of Aspinwall and PRC to make Big Night Out a Zero Waste Event.

You can help by:

• Bringing reusable plates, cups, utensils, and containers if you’re packing a picnic.

• Choosing compostable items whenever possible.

• Refilling your reusable water bottle at our on-site water bottle refill station.

Together, we can celebrate our community while taking care of it.
