FC Pride in the Park is a free, annual celebration dedicated to making every LGBTQIA+ young person in our community feel seen, valued, and loved. Held each June at Allegheny RiverTrail Park in Aspinwall, PA, this is a space where queer and questioning kids can show up exactly as they are! 

Now in its sixth year, Pride in the Park has grown from a small neighborhood gathering into one of the few youth-centered Pride events in the Pittsburgh area, welcoming over 800 guests each year. Whether you're a queer teen looking for community, a family that wants your child to know they belong, or an ally who believes every kid deserves to feel proud, this event is for you. 💜

What to Expect

Pride in the Park is a free, family-friendly outdoor festival packed with activities for all ages. Guests enjoy music, drag performances, arts and crafts, games, a craft vendor fair, a banned book swap, a clothing swap, and a resource fair connecting families and youth with LGBTQIA+-affirming local organizations. All activities are free of charge. Food and beverages are available for purchase on-site (or bring your own!).

Who We Are

FC Pride in the Park is a 100% volunteer-run, grassroots organization. We are proudly fiscally sponsored by Aspinwall Neighbors, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which means donations to FC Pride in the Park may be tax-deductible.

How You Can Help

This event exists because of community support. There are several ways to get involved:

Volunteer — Join our crew on event day (and before!). Student volunteers are welcome, and hours can be certified.

Sponsor — Businesses and organizations can support Pride in the Park through sponsorship packages at a variety of levels.

Donate — Every $10 covers the cost of one guest enjoying four hours of free activities. Every dollar makes a difference.
